 Since its beginning in 1987, , a national cheerleading and dance company, has grown to offer expert, year-round instruction to students ages three to 23. Elizabeth Rossetti, a former cheerleader at The Ohio State University, founded AmeriCheer as a one-person instructional clinic out of her Columbus apartment. AmeriCheer annually attracts over 100,000 athletes and spectators to its camps and competitions.
To strengthen its influence on the youth market, AmeriCheer is the parent company to AmeriDance, an  instructional and competitive dance company, and Victory Wear, an apparel company. The addition of AmeriDance and Victory Wear, coupled with extensive print, television and internet marketing campaigns, make AmeriCheer a recognized force in the lives of teenagers across the country.
AmeriCheer administers over 100 exciting competitions and 200 educational summer camps each year throughout the United States. The AmeriCheer InterNational Championship competition is held every March at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, Florida. This exciting event attracts over 4,000 competitors and 8,000 spectators annually!
In 2005, AmeriCheer became one of the founding members of the NLCC- Nation's Leading Cheer Companies. The focus of NLCC is to recognize all levels of cheerleading and dance. The NLCC believes in showing the world who is truly THE WORLD'S BEST in every division. For this reason, the NLCC held its first FINAL DESTINATION competition in 2006. This competition was established to recognize teams of all ability levels that have excelled in cheerleading and dance and provide a finale in achieving top honors. This annual competition continues to grow and attract the best from around the world!
Consistent with the principles on which it was founded, AmeriCheer continues to provide comprehensive instruction at its state-of-the-art training center, in Westerville, OH. Committed to promoting safety, self-confidence and teamwork among its students, the AmeriCheer Instructional Staff helps mold these aspiring athletes into tomorrow’s best cheerleaders and dancers.
